Sudden loss of oil pressure at Idle

So I have a bad Bcddc valve lol. So every day I adjust my Idle. I'm either at 400 rpms or 2500.Very annoying at lights. Noticed at 500 revs my oil pressure dives to 0. On the gauge. Soon as I rev back up the oil pressure goes back to normal. I'm starting my winter to do lists not sure if this could be oil pump related. Figure I'd see if anyone had this issue???

Replace oil pressure sensor. Common problem.

Also plug the vacuum line going to the BCDD, that might stop your idle issues unless the spring in the BCDD if broken and just letting any amount of air in.
all it does is stops oil from being sucked in through the valve guides when the engine is at low throttle but high RPM, like when going down a hill.

Huh bet that's why I have been getting a puff of Blue every time I jump on the throttle after going down a steep hill. Changed to the cars original intake. I had a 79 intake on a 81 engine in a 80 car. Lol here it turns out I was better off with my 79 intake. Thought I damaged the rings when the head gasket went. Thanx got some chores for my list.

Yeah sometimes my pressure doesn't read right. The needle will be too low when I am on the freeway. lol I am sure it is either the plug or the unit itself. I haven't got around to messing with it much. Have some other important things to take care of.

So plugging the vacuum line will disconnect the functioning of the BCDD? How would this increase oil pressure on the gauge? Sorry if this has been answered before, I'm new here.
