can you replace a digital speedometer cluster with an analog, and will the plugs interchange

Yes, you can swap digital to analog, and analog to digital, BUT you need the dash wiring harness that goes w/ the cluster. Both harnesses have the same plugs at the huge connector block at the passenger kick panel.

 

Arent' a couple of the senders in the engine compartment different for analog and digital? You may need temp sensor and fuel tank sender from the "analog" z-car

 

Fuel sender is the same. Temp sensors are different, but IIRC, the digital one will work w/ analog, but if you are going analog to digital, you need the digital one.
