Speedometer

Does anyone know do i have to get a different cable for the 130 mph speedometer if the 85 was what came with the car?

ugh i hate when things don't work like they're supposed to.. why if i have the cable hooked to both the speedometer and the transmission would the speedometer not read...?

Did you test the speedo before installing? Did you hook up the cables correctly?

ya i tested it when i hooked it up to a drill to set the odometer..... is there a way to hook up the cable wrong it seems pretty self explanitory since it was never removed plug it into the back right and the wires aren't able to be hooked up wrong...

You could remove the connection at the tranny & spin the cable there while someone watches the speedo... other than that you get to take it back apart.
