Nice pics. Your Z looks pretty clean. Nice paint. I've never seen the tie-downs done on a Z before. Looks pretty cool. I think I'd try to do them more towards the rear of the hood, but it looks pretty good where you have them.

the AE ..will kick out on anything ...that car sooooo scary ....3dr gear dirfts .........just drive it 45 mph push it to the floor and hang on it will break lose and drift sideways for as long as you want.... put it to 4th and it will spin them to a grab .....very scary and tuff to control ....this kid that owns it is a savage .....build it out of a junk yard .. .....turbo it him self ...they dont make a gts motor with a turbo only super charger so he used a 300zx turbo from a TT car the head from a MR2 ...and a 4AGE bock.... this kid is only 17 years old...this is why i have to work on my car so much ...i have to keep up with these fools his bro owns the 240sx and is only just turning 20 i think ...there mad men on a quest for longest drift .......crazy sickooooooooos

i was looking at the head and the over all design of the GTS motor ..this set up is alot like the TC-16 OSG motor ....seems to me toyota played copey cat ..giken O MISTER GIKEN ...why didnt you make more of your wonderful heads .........toyota seem to have went cheaper on a few things ..but thats all ways seemed to be the case to me...but over all it seems to be the same desigin ...

Madness. Total Madness! Makes me want to move to Washington ...

That RPS13 is hot, and I'm loving that Hachi! That engine is quite a combo - mad props to the boostage and headgasket blowing.

Mmmm-mmmm-mmm ... there's a reason my screenname's Dorifto ... gotta love the drift!

I've got a great hookup at a local tire place that gets me used tires for free - no complaints here. Just need another set of wheels to mount them on.

what about you man. It's pretty easy to get the 280zx to go sideways. I've gone to empty parking lots with mine and done some donuts for fun

I just drive to an industrial area at like 1 in the morning and screw around in a parking lot for like 5 minutes and then move onto the next parking lot

eh, they have cameras and stuff. Camera shy? and I guess they have those guys that drive around businesses that are security. Idk, hasn't been a problem for me. I'm not sure where else you could do it then. You do need a parking lot or something off road. This kinda stuff shouldn't be practiced on the street. If you screw up on the road you can mess up your car.

ill have to try it once I get my insurance back on my z (or mabie ill try my underpowered mr2).... well I got a quick drift story since this is a drift post. I was coming out of a parking lot when this little VW rabbit comes flying up on me and tryes to go around me, so I steped on the gas and powered over right infront of him and made him kill his car in the middle of the road. so of corse to make him look even worse I put the thumbs down out the window.... not only did it make him look like an idiot in a crap car but I got a almoste completely sidways drift around the turn

You're lucky he didn't rear-end you. Given the description, you probably would have gotten a reckless driving ticket to go along with a boat load of body work and then you would have had to pay to fix up that crappy VW.

If he had lost his brakes and swerved to miss you running up on a curb and killing a family of four, you would probably be in jail right now waiting for your manslaughter trial.

If you think that's a crazy unlikely scenario, it's not, it happened to one of the guys I work with, except he was the family on the sidewalk. His son was killed and his 6 yr old daughter spent the next 2 months in intensive care. I told the guy that did it, if he ever gets out of jail, he won't last a month and he'll never see it coming.

If you're going to show someone up, don't do it by cutting them off and causing an accident.
