So I got the motor and tranny back in. I had stopped working on the car for a while as it was not my DD anymore and the urgency has dropped. Well I just knocked over some trees in my DD on monday so urgency is back to finish the project. All I have left to do is put the exhaust on, put the rockers back in, and set the timing.

One thing I did run into when wiring everything back up: There are two wires going to the coil, one is blue and the other is black with a white stripe. Which one is positive? The black one is thicker, and I'd have to say I've never seen a bright blue ground wire before, but you never know...

Tl;dr- Two wires go to the coil. One is black with a white stripe, and the other is blue. Which is positive?

 

Black w/ white stripe is positive (12v+ switched). The blue is the tach signal (negative).
