Go take a look at it. Doesn't sound like he knows much about cars in general if he says:

Go take a look at it, point out all the flaws, and offer $300.
needs a rubber piece for the front end because there is a vibration at about 45mph
Transmission needs more gear oil because there is some noise.

So if I maybe if I make him feel really dumb I can get the car for $100???
