So what is this {# 5} it says that it is a inhibitor relay {WHAT DOES IT INHIBIT} mine has never been there some one removed it a long time ago. I would like to know what the hell it does

If memory serves me correctly, that will only be in place on automatic trannie cars.

I think you are correct. It's the safety switch for an A/T.
