red light dash. wont turn green

red light dash. wont turn green

red light dash. wont turn green, when i turn the key us it would of turn red then green to start.. but now it just stays on red and wont turn on.. does this mean something is wrong with the ecu or something with the motor?

please help if you know about this

this happened after i saw water coming out the dash.. so idk if the water from the water crock got into the ecu, if that is possible

That happens to mine to it says battery and I had it checked at autozone and they said it was ok I replaced the positive because it was cut up the negative looks fine what do I do?

Some early 79-80 280zx's and the Canada 280zx's have a battery water gauge. Once you replace the battery, it will trip that sensor since no modern batteries have that spot for the sensor. I would assume you could just disconnect it since it's grounding out... but I've never seen that sensor (you could look it up in the FSM).
