Hey guys , I have a small problem I was adjusting my rearview mirror when it fell apart . I was looking online at the Zstore and they are asking for 250 plus shipping. I heard that the z32 might fit , I got one from a z31 and the joint is too big so it just wabbles.

What I did:

Pull rear-view from Granada partscar for my Mustang, since its bigger than 280zx, and pulled the ball out from the 280zx mount at the end closest to the mirror of that little 2-inch movy-thingy and popped in the granada one. Once I get it set where it needs to be, I plan on super-gluing the crack (because to get it out i cracked it a little) so it would fall out.

In short...
Which part of your mirror "fell apart" b/c Im pretty sure there is only a)the mirror and housing, b)the 2-inch adjusty-thingy, and c)the mount... right?

there are 3 screws that secure the whole mirror to the roof. Take the whole thing and put on your. Maxima or other nissan should work also.

Check your local Pull-A-Part. Several Nissan models used identical mirror mounts -- I think one of my current mirrors is from a 1996 Sentra. The mirror is a different shape, but the mount is a direct fit.

The 2nd Gen Maxima is close but will not bolt in. If you're willing to do a little drilling on the mount it may work for you. Rear view mirrors are cheap at my local pick n pull. I think $2.50
