For real or False?

I just came across this on e-bay, it claims to give more horsepower to a n/a. What do you all think?

I had this in my car even before it was turbo charged to increase the power/air flow to my N/A motor.

The guy selling it is a member over at HybridZ I think, From what I remember he bought Haltech so he needs to sell that.

Yes, it is for real, but it takes a lot of other mods to make it useful, like a 60mm TB, head work, bored intake runners and surge tank, injectors, cam, headers, exhaust, re-mapped ecu, etc.

It doesn't take that much to make it useful and the only thing it will really do is give you a snappier throttle responce. It's a common mod for the N/A to go along with the 60mm throttle body. One of the guys at hybrid had his dyno'd just to see and it didn't yield any hp increase. Porting head and intakes will have their own advancement regardless of this mod.

It does flow more since it is larger but whether it will help you is determined by whether the afm is the choke point on a particular car.

My point exactly. There are a lot of other places that need to be modified in order to realize the potential of this "upgrade". All together, they can make a HUGE difference. Individually, you'll be lucky if they don't actually REDUCE your power.
