The Z I'm getting has an auto trans in it. Think it would be worth it to rebuild it and put it up for sale on here?

Or does someone wanna trade me for all the parts to a manual for all the automatic parts?

 

It's rarely worth it to rebuild any auto transmission...

If you can find someone local who wants it, mebbe... shipping it would cost more than it's worth. I've sent two 280zx auto transmissions to the scrapper. That's how much they are worth to me.

 

Sorry to let you know ,the auto trannies worth next to nothing,Just do the swap and get on with it.
I have three of them and they just sitting collecting dust,one of them is a fresh rebuild.
I have almost every thing for the swap minus tranny to convert from auto to manual.

 

Yeah I sorta figured lol but it doesn't hurt to ask! And no its not burned out amazingly. tho it has 200K+ miles on it

Ah well, not shocked really. And would you be willing to part with the pedals and hardline? I think I have everything else, that is if an auto driveshaft with would with a manual.

 

Yeah I will send you both parts for $100 shipped to your door.The hard line have the master cylinder and the slave attached (complete).Also I have the manual Drive shaft from coupe N/A and that will be extra $50.
Also I have a drive shaft for a Turbo if your car a Turbo($75)!?
