Dooooood!!!! You've never heard of Harbour Freight?!?!?! http://www.harbourfreight.com/

They have a couple stores in IL. Awesome place for cheap tools. Some of their products are better quality than others, but they have great prices.

I had to cut them twice to get the right height. The second time they were actually too short to hit the strut cap when installing, so I had to wire them tight when installing. Stiff as hell springs tho...

The Mercedes spring install is totally NismoPicks idea. I bought those springs a long time ago but decided to go with a full set of ST springs which need to be cut in the rear anyway.

Shady, did you get the springs yet?
Cut about 2 or 2.5 coils off of each one. Uncompressed, cut them so they would fill the strut at full extension. You won't get much compression once the weight of the car is on them. Also, you won't need spring compressors when installing or removing the rear springs/struts. My ST springs are like that anyway.

for stock height springs, compressors are needed, unless you do the car jacking method. i dont care whos idea it was, i got them thats what matters i havent cut them yet. im running kyb gr-2 shocks. they are a little longer full extension, found that out with the old taller springs. (currently bagged out) i will try soon here.
