Problems removing BMC
This may be kind of a noob question, but I'm trying to remove my BMC, and I can not for the life of me get thee brake lines off of the underside of the cylinder. Should I be trying to get the check valves off too?
It's a 1980 ZX NA and FSM has been of no help so far.

Welcome to Zdriver man. As for the brake lines. You need a brake line wrench. It will be 10mm I think. I just bought one a short while back. Do not use a regular wrench on the lines. You will round off the nuts. Then you just have the 2 12mm nuts, and the master cylinder should come off. Along with the plate, that holds your heat shield on. Hope that helps, and good luck.

Yeah, vice grips are a no-go. Nowhere in town has a tube wrench. Sears, Lowes, all local hardware store are sold out and NAPA and O'Reilly only have sizes down to 11mm in stock. Looks like I'll be ordering online..
