ok well i have 2 cars for sale one turbo atomatic and one n/a 5 speed how ever i have also considered trades that i have been offered..
so anyways...
i have questions regarding the usefulness of some trades ive been offered

1)does a 300zx t-5 turbo tranny fit in a 280zx or even bolt to the motor??

2) also an equally conditioned 280z trade for my red car, is the trade worth it?(open to opinions) will the 280z tranny work with my l28et?

3) or a restored n/a zx with scetchy running motor for $800. i would say, except motor, its 80% restored (canidate for an l28et swap , so motor not an issue)

what would yall do in my shoes. open to a discussion and advice on the tranny questions
i know its my choice in the end, but i do enjoy bouncing ideas off people

In general the 280z body type (s30) is considered more valuable in terms of collecting, so if you're shooting for higher resale, that might be the way to go. Personally, I love the 280zx. People have been putting L28ets into 240-280zs for just about forever. I'm sure if you searched in this forum or on google you'd find your answer.

3 - Restored for $800 - alarm bells are ringing.... oh wait restored 80%... what does that mean - it's only rusty in 80% of the body and the rest is perfect? If it was a soild car for $800 I'd buy it without the engine or steering wheel.

 

ok so i just got back from austin and turns out the 280z while in great condition , its just not my thing i really do love the trunk space and added flash the zx comes with.

and well the car for 800 was posted for 1800 with excelent pics i watched it drop to a 1000 buck turns out was just great pics

i think ima turbo swap my red na, i hate to gut it cuz its original 120000 miles and runs strong , but there is just nothing else worth buying in the 300 mile area i been everywhere !!!!!


plus side is i been searching for 280z's for some clients and found some nice ones they are happy and so are my
