My brother said "I'm sorry I crash your car..."

So, about 3 weeks ago, my brother went outside to crank the car up and left it in gear. Of course, he was in the passenger seat and couldn't cut it off in time. His truck was parked about 5-10 ft in front of my car, and he hit it pretty good.

Luckily I didn't kill him or hurt him too bad. I found a hood, headlight bezel, and front air dam and started trying to straighten out the mounts...

thats up at our shop seeing what the damage really was...

Well...I got everything as straight as I could with my body tools (2 sets of pliers and a ball peen hammer!) and started putting things back together

Damn! Sorry about your car... I think I would have killed him. But that is cuz my brother totaled his 69 impala twice and blew the brand new edlebrock 350 my mom bought him. Yup I would have killed him.

Then I figured I'd try my hand at painting! I figured it couldn't be any worse that it was/is now! I tried the satin look and I think it turned out pretty good for my first time!

I know it's not perfect, but I think it's damn good for painting in our dusty shop and doing it in a day! The hood is painted, I just need to do a little more tweaking to get it to mount right. Let me know what you think

Looks pretty good I think. I am looking for a shop to do 3m wrapping so I can protect the paint and hell why not change the color while I am at it

The first thing I did when I saw what he did was took a swing at him and said a couple choice words! I honestly can't even tell you where I hit him, or what I said...those couple minutes were just a blur!

Yea, I've actually thought about that. We have a guy in town that does vinyl wraps. I wanted to get the hood done in a real carbon fiber look, but I don't know if it'll look cheesy or good...

I don't know that this pertains to anything, but I figured I already have a thread, so no need to start another one! I got some tunes now!

As you can see, I have to have my music! The sub is an RE-SE12 rated at 600w RMS/1200w MAX, and I have a Kicker KX750.1 powering it. The 6x9's are shitty xplod's that I'm replacing with some RE 6x9's. And the middle speakers are component 5 1/4" JBL's from a 98 Explorer with the JBL system. The "sound bar" is what I like to call it, is powered by a Rockford Fosgate 75W X 4 channel amp. It's loud, but clear as a bell. The sub box is built to spec and tuned to 22hz and will. handle the full 600 watts all the way down to 21hz. Any questions or comments, just let me know.

Tunes are important

A big improvement over the stock radio, what are you using as a Head unit ? Looks like your cargo is music.. woot !! What type of music do you listen to mostly ? I like almost anything, rock and roll, heavy metal, good jazz (like patricia barber)... mostly anything with guitars

I'm using a basic Pioneer head unit; CD player and Aux input, I honestly can't remember the model. It's okay at best. I'm looking at another unit, but have to save a little money. I listen to all types of music: Rock, Country, Pop, Rap/Hip Hop, Acoustic, Jazz, Blues, pretty much anything! And I'm pretty sure I have the stock alt! I don't know the amperage of it, but I can watch the meter bounce at certain volumes. I'm gonna get a capacitor and see if that'll take care of it, if not, then I'll tie another battery in just for the system. And there is about 3 square foot of space where I can put something, but not much at all. This isn't my travel car, so it isn't a big deal for me.
