Overheating Distributor??

Ignitor. The CAS doesn't usually go bad unless it's whacked, dropped, or melted.

The CAS is actually a wheel that spins. It doesn't go bad. The CAS pickup can go bad, but the CAS itself will never fail... there's nothing there, other than a spinning piece of metal, to fail...

I could make it fail... Just grab the disc w/ some pliers and yank!

Im not sure what you mean. Are you asking why it acually cut off? I think my injectors were partially cloged and my air/fuel mix was of.

He flushed the fuel system, did a minor repair on the fuel pump, and set the a/f, and put on another starter and its running great.
