Lumar or Solargaurd, either of these two name brands will last for many years if properly cared for. Unless you have done tint professionally like myself get a pro to do it...should be $110-$140 for the whole car + front strip on windshield if you want one. If you don't have a heat gun...as many of us do not, use a hair dryer on the inside of the back hatch glass and heat it up real good and hot to help melt that glue and peel it off from the corner slowly...if it starts to rip, heat it up some more, Formula 409 regular strength and a green dish scrubbie (Scotch Bright) after all the tint is off...it removes the left over glue and that horrid smell from the tint will go away. DO NOT USE A RAZOR on that defroster if you plan to keep using it.

Window Tint Cleaning tip for everyone: Get a garden spray bottle 32oz and a bottle of regular blue Dawn dish washing liquid. Fill the spray bottle with store bought bottled water then 3-4 small drops of Dawn, thats all you need, close the spay bottle and shake gently to mix. Use this very mild mix to clean the inside of the tinted windows. It will clean it streak free with no spots and WILL NOT turn the tint purple like window cleaners that have ammonia in them.

Not only am I the "Car Audio Wizard" I was also the "Window Tint King" It's true, that was my nick name.

Post Final Update (I Hope)

well got it running and drove it for about forty miles, no problem. did notice that at a stop it seems to be idleing a lil low (bout 6000) now whether or not that is because the CHTS and distributor are insureing the right mixture i dont know will have to drive it a lil more to see, also thanks for the tint tips but i am very kknowledgable bout doing it just curious of name brands to use i cant remember the last name of tint i used but it lasted 8 years so i can live with that thx again ppl

note: nice tint THXONE what percent is that?

Man...

I'm glad you got your car running good.

Whoever thought about the CHTS being the problem is a genius!

Drive line typically refers to the motor, transmission, drive shaft and differential.

Drive shaft usually refers to drive shaft...

Driveline Service in San Leandro. All they do is Driveshafts. Drivetrain or Powertrain is usually the term for the whole ****: fan to ******* shaft.
