ODB -> USB connector? (or alternative)

Hey all,

Can anyone think of a way in which I can hook up the ECU to my laptop to read sensors and other data?

If I can get the data into a USB port I'm willing to spend the many hours it would take to decode and use it.

Any ideas?

Sorry man, but OBD didn't get used until the early 90's. You won't get anything from the ZX sensors except a couple of resistance readings, and.... that's about it. You'd have to switch to Megasquirt or some other stand alone efi if you want data acquisition.

never gonna happen not in a million years. how would it? theres no port anywhere in the EFI system. i know the turbo you could run some hokey *** CCS tester or some crap that was about as accurate as using a pistol for hunting bears.
