Solution for a bad starter... BUY A NEW ONE.... if it is indeed the starter.

?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ??????????????? not very clearly stated. (It's the starter.... but it's not)

Maybe it's the ignition switch then.

What I ment by that is that it is somewhere along the lines of the starter area not like the engine or something. sorry to be so unclear.

Mine did that at first. I looked under the hood in a lil black box marked Fuse Links. I had one that was burned though, but barely touching. Replaced it. starter was workin good.

1. clean the battery terminals or buy new battery cables and make sure the top of the battery is clean
2. make sure that battery is fully charged. Buy a plug in charger if you need to
3. Jump a small wire from the battery + directly to the small wire on the back of the starter solinoid. This should crank the engine over. Be sure the car is in neutral

If the starter doesn't crank when you hot wire it, then your new starter is a defect.

Don't overlook cleaning the cables at the starter end either. It doesn't take too much exessive resistance to keep the starter from turning the motor over.
