No Start =( Help i'm stranded...

Ok long story short my battery terminals hit the bottom of the hood and my car died . I belive thats why cuzz my battery cables were very hot. Battery still has some juice cuzz the radio and windows still work. I tried to jump it but when i turn the key all the way i get nothing..everything seems fine until i try to crank it. I get nothing it does not sound like the starter is not turning..i have a new starter, its been on for a couple months and i only drove the car like two or three times. My mechanic told me last time when this happen( after i replaced the starter the same day) he said i had a loose connection thats all.
Now its happen again and i'm stuck, not sure what connection he was talking about. fussible links look still good. if you can help me please do. 83 turbo is the one thats all bad

if both terminals shorted out, you might have fried the computer or the starter?? Check the fuses also.

Have you tried a new battery? Could be that there isn't enough juice in the battery to start the motor, but it would still allow for all the accessories to work...

Check your fuseable links. Their nearby the battery and a short like that will instantly fry one Just give each one a little pull and if the rubber stretches, that fuseable link is gone. I'm voting its the Ignition Fuseable link.

I am betting it s the started shorting out...if you tried to jump and still nothing than it got to be the started (also as others said check fuses).

You need to clean and tighten your battery cable connections, and verify the grounds on the body and engine.

Fixed

Ok fellas looks like you where all wrong but i hate to admit it my car was in DRIVE when i was trying to start it..LOL
In all the panic when my car just instantly cut of when i hit this corner pretty hard. I forgot to put the tie down for my battery so it was sliding around and the terminals hit the hood and 200 yards later i was at a complete stop. checked battery and terminals were hot fixed the terminal and never put it back in park or neutral. Safe to say everything still works guys the ZXT Lives on. Driving it today.......thanks for the help
