Nissan Hardbody, Z trans

Alright. I know the 240SX with KA24, and Datsun Z 5 speed are interchangeable. But Nissan Hardbody truck with KA24, can i put my Z trans into it.

Yes, but it will lean like 15 degrees towards the passenger side.
I was going to post the link to the video I took of when we did this but it is horrible quality. Here it is anyway, lol!

humm. the shifter being a few degree's to the right might be ok, as long as it will still shift within it's factory shifter hole in floorboard.

Aren't the Datsun Z 5-speeds 71Bs? The 84-89 N/A Z31 is the 71C which is what the S13 uses.

They aren't "interchangeable". You need to modify the bell housing to get the KA24 tranny to work.

It will bolt right up but like I said it leans to one side. I would just do the bellhousing swap myself.

....right and to change the bell housing you need to modify either the bearing or the bearing mount....
