^^^ They aren't using stock ecu's. Those pics you just posted... notice the coil packs? That's not stock.

I did not know that. I'm not running a cat, and the pipes dump right in front of the back tires, I didnt think there would be any backpressure with the pipe being so short and all. Edit on my part. Its a Flowmaster 44 series.

Pretty sure all Flows are chambered. Chambers are restrictive. Turbo's don't like restrictions. I read that somewhere

It actually sounds really good. The turbocharger itself muffles a lot of the extreme exhaust sound. Just straight piping will definitely let you hear the turbo whine.

i would run it all the way to the back, and it won't be to loud, bu when you start increasing boost it gets louder, also, no muffling at all these cars sound like diesel trucks, but go figure, a inline six turbo lol.

here's my old 260Z turbo with an open down pipe

here it is with a 3 inch from the O2 housing back. and a muffler off a racing evo that went straight dump out the side, high HP! lol

Maybe. Last time I used Flows I had a mustang. That was a long time ago. I listened to your car clips. It sounds great.

They use straight through Dynomax or Magnaflo or that other high priced brand whose name escapes me at the moment (must have inhaled too much formaldahyde working with that Garolite stuff earlier lol). Not many people believe in the back pressure myth anymore I guess.

The answer is the same from the last time you asked.

Here's what you should do. Get the car running very well, then take off one thing at a time. If the car still runs like it did before, great... if not, then you know you need to keep it, or modify it to work.

If you yank everything at once, and then it has probs, you'll spend the next few days whacking your head on the ground trying to figure out what is causing the prob, all while saying "I'm not worthy" to the car.

Well I plan on buying a N47 mani so the webbing would be gone. I know im blocking off the EGR and the POV. I know the EGR will not mess with the way it runs and I will not need the POV when im going to have a BOV.

Im going to order the DP I showed in my other post I guess and make it fit. It does not have a EGR hole in it. Not that I can see, and if it does ill have it welded up.

the one you posted im pretty sure is going to make some PIA clearance issues either with the firwall and the stuff mounted on it or the steering shaft/rack setup. not sure a bender can fix that might need to get a welder to segment it and customize! but you also might get lucky and it is almost a perfect fit. who knows. but you will need to get a custom exhaust made for it to.

It won't... didn't Snw just say that? You have to cut it & adjust the angle.

He said that or I might get lucky and it will fit.

Does anyone make a DP for our ZX turbo cars?
