Nice to meet you Shane, no insult intended my friend.
See my 1st plan was to buy this other intake that a friend of mine has. All the ports minus a few vac ports have been shaved off and its been painted black. He only wants 125.00 for it and I thought that it was a good deal. But im being told that I need all this extra stuff my intake has on it for the car to run right. I just want it as simple as I can get it.

I would use something thicker than a coke can. I used 3/16 plate steel and high temp silicone. Leave the EGR on and go get a one of those rubber plugs from auto zone for now, untill you can find something better than a coke can to block that off with.

Completly stock, except for a blocked off EGR port. I checked it would cost about $14(ball park) to ship it. Dont forget you would have to block it off on the exhaust manifold side too.

Im getting a new down pipe to take care of that. Mine is all busted up anyways. How about running just strait 2 1/2" pipe all the way back? No muffler and no cat. I dont think that would be to loud would it, and it sure would not have much stoping the flow.

I think that bolts right up but I'm not sure. Its for the S30 guys swapping the L28Et. It should but dont hold me too it. The other guys might know more about it than I do. Right now I'm running the stock down pipe. But everything south of that is 3", and I'm running a Flowmaster 40 series 3" inlet and duel 2 3/4" outlets. A friend of mine is useing this and I will switch over to this as soon as I replace my tubo.

You will need/DIY someone to weld the down pipe with this set up.

i dont know if the pipe will fit in the S130, it will bolt right to the stock turbo, but i think might have some clearence issues in the 280zx. also, people use coke cans, its wierd, i checked out that option and it wont work on a Z manifold, i know it does on the DSM's but the EGR on there is a 3 bolt and is small.

ya I just sold my 95 GST. Man that was a fun car.

I guess I need straight hate to PM me his number so we can talk more about me picking up his intake.

I was really hoping that this down pipe would work being so cheap, but I know someone has to make a bolt on down pipe for a ZX so can someone point in to that site?

This is my intake and it is turbo. Like I was telling Nismo earlier. I'm not running a cold start or an air regulator. I dont have any problems with it starting or running.

A chambered muffler on a turbocharged car? You know that's not good right?

Sure...if he has a $300K mandrel bending machine If not, you're going to wind up w/ a 2" dp. Better to cut and weld. BTW...hi from Texas

If you have a friend w/ a mandrel bending machine you are indeed lucky. Does he work w/ 3" piping too? I'm putting together a 3" v band dp and a turbo relocation pipe. Cutting and welding is a PITA.
