Need New or Rebuilt L28 for '83 280ZX

Does anyone know where I might get a new or rebuilt L28 engine for my '83 280ZX? I have a compression problem in my #6 cylinder. Thanks in advance.

What is MSA

Excuse my ignorance but what is MSA? I am new to using this forum and quite frankly don't really know what I am doing. Thanks for the help..

Motorsport Auto in California. They are one of the largest distributors of Z parts and accessories.

Colin, I am swapping my engine into a '79 ZX but I don't have any plans for the stock engine in the '79. Since you live in NC maybe you would be interested in buying it. The car runs fine but I haven't done a compression test on it yet. Let me know, we could probably work something out.

Thank you all for the info. I am in the process of finishing my suspension now. I have most all of the parts for that, but my number 6 cylinder has about 75 psi of compression - so the engine is shot.. I would be interested in discussing purchase of your engine (zx zoom - I don't know your name). I am awaiting a reman engine from ATK to become available. It is supposed to be available tomorrow. I will call to see. I plan on a pretty nice restore so I am not opposed to paying for the reman.

Sounds like a plan, just let me know if you decide you want the engine.
