throttle issues....

i've replaced all the basic stuff, fuel filters, replaced the pump in warranty so i exchanged it even gave it a much needed tune up i went on vacation and the ZX stayed dormit for five weeks. I just took it for a spin and once it warmd up it was.... acting like i had a dead cilinder at a light throtle(kinda like it's stroked) but goes away as the motor reves. I took it on the freeway and after a few miles it fades out, i pop it in nutral and hit the key.... fires right up like nothing is wrong...

any ideas guys? i can't really aford to take it to the shop untill next month and really wanted to take it to oakland this sunday for the get-tougather.

Check the connections on the fuel injectors and all the vacuum lines. Also, you might want to do the screwdriver test on all the injectors to make sure they are working properly.

Yeah, take the tip of the flat tip screw driver, hold it against the injector, and put your ear against the handle and listen to the injector pulses to make sure all sound the same. Same principle as an automotive stethoscope you can get from an autop parts store.
