Need an E-brake cable!

I finally finished most all of my other projects and there is just one thing left before it is done, a stupid Ebrake cable(the cable that comes of the calipers). So far I have gone to every place possible to get one and no luck, VIP, AutoZone, napa, carquest and tire warehouse. The only place that had one was the Nissan dealership but they wanted $160! Tire warehouse had it on there computer for $50 but they said they can no longer get them. I have also checked junk yards and the only 280zx I found was a 79' that had like 300,000 miles on it was rusted to crap so I didn't really want that cable. If anyone has one or knows were to get one I would greatly apreciate it. Thanks in advance,
Rob

If it's the cable that splits to each caliper, I'd let you have mine, but I've got an '81 2+2.

Thanks for the offer I really apreciate it. I just ordered one from Vic. Brit. for only $50. The only thing is they wont' have it for 5-6 weeks. That means I won't be driving my car this year.

That bites. But at least you found it. The wait makes your next drive that much nicer!

Yeah, my next drive must be real great cause I got to wait 4 1/2 months. I'm guessing you don't have that problem were you live. AHH I hat winter! Atleast it will give me time to finsih every thing else on my car.

you can still "drive" the car w/ no ebrake.... just leave the car in gear when parked. Not the safest, but you can still drive it.

Edit... and just throw in back two 2x4 blocks to chalk the tires when ya park! There! who needs an ebrake!?

wow, $50 is CHEAP! I didn't know they had that part. I sure hope they didn't make a mistake and order you the bare cable that goes from the hand brake to the brake adjuster...

No, I am pretty sure it is the right thing because they had a diagram in the catalog.
