does any one have a paint chart for the 79's?? i want to see how many were painted my color. I tried carfax to try and find more info about my car but it won't take my VIN.

 

Well i found out what color mine is. Its the Citrus Green color. Now I just need to try and find out how many of them were made for the 79 year.

a few months to years with my luck. I still have alot of bnody work on the rear. i'll prep and primer iit hopefully in the next few weeks or so. After that i might just take it to maaco to do a temp job with the right paint though. I might pay some extra fro a few more coats of clear on it though.

 

Belive it or not my paint job is from macco, I just dont tell anyone at shows!

Do all your body work yourselve i hear they do a shitty job.

When you visit them ask them how long they've been painting, check out the other cars that were painted, the reasons you hear all these horror stories is because people take their cars to idiots.


ALSO, tell them ahead of time if you see any blemish or run you will make them repaint that part, I actually had them paint it three times because they screwed up(each redo was free), and you cant beat the price!
