This is my progress...

Well i dont post much here but i do once and while...
Ive been seeing everyone's progress threads and i figure ill make mine so here it is:

Engine:
-Rebuilt p90a head (i want it hydraulic...personal preference.)
-370cc injectors
-Modified AFM
-60mm TB
-Shaved, Port, Polished n42 intake manifold
-t3/t4 .60 trim stage 3
-Accel 8.8mm Race Wires
-New Bolts everywhere
-New timing Set
-New water pump
-Polished timing cover (Just for looks)
-Polished oil pump (Just for looks)
-And other stuff i cant think of right now...

Exterior: (will post more pix)
-E46 Bixenon Projectors...Retrofitted in 7" round housing
-Hella Amber Fog Lights
-Konig Rewings 15x7 Graphite
-Primered Black
-More Stuff...

good stuff bro. are those 370cc injectors "SVO" injectors? I've been looking for a set. Where'd ya get em? But damn... now my 280zx isn't the only one w/ HiD's! oh well... originality can't last forever.

i got the injectors from a friend for free 8 of them actually... already lost one haha... Anyways yea also having hids is the greatest! I can now see the world. But the only problem is that the hids are in the headlight buckets so there is a bit of glare as u can see in the picture agasint my garage. But the hella foglights make a difference also, they are focused to compensate for hids in the middle

im upgrading to z31 and i have an safc laying around so i was just going to use that... I had the safc for my other car but i never put it in and decided to use it on my z

How did you do the intake?? Just cut out the extra material between the runners??

it's an N42 non EGR intake... came on certain 280z models...

i did the shaving of the non esantel parts on the intake but nismopick is right the web part betten the runers were that way factory. but the rest of the shaving and polishing took alot of work but it was worth it.it looks sweet. you should see the timing cover and oil pump i did for him, thoses turnd out sweet also

Whad ya use to pollish? Cuz it's a purdy rough surface as you know! (Hopefully that's not a "secret of the pros")

lots of hours sanding to get it smoth. then lots of time with a buffer wheel and lots of pollish. but its worth it. the inside is also done on his intake and the inside of the turbo.

i have an extra n47 intake manifold laying around. Its exactly like the n42 without the webbing but it has egr so u can stay smog legal and have the clean look

I hope you didnt pay more than 280.00 for that turbo or 48.00 for the wastegate?? Looks good man.. What #s are you going for?? Engine management..

whoa whoa more than 48? I have never heard of a tial wastegate go that cheep. Nor have i heard a t3/t4 that cheep.
