I hate my car right now!!! Just call her Christine. I start her up with no problem. turn her off and she won't start again. i redid the wiring going to the pump. She starts when she wants to not when i need her to. I have to go get it smogged because my reg is due today. ARGGHHHHHH what in the heck is happening here?

I checked the wiring behind the glove box and the fuseable links. I know I'm getting spark and air so what else can it be?

need three things fire, oxygen and air. If they are all there then she should go UNLESS you changed the timing somehow. when you say won't start does it turn over but no pop or not turn over. two different problems you see. bad battery corroded battery cables/terminals (common cause most people too lazy to maintain battery) Do you smell gas out the tailpipe while cranking. my 83zxt would flood sometime and had to hold throttle wide open and give her a long crank to get started.

Make that 4 things...

Fire
Fuel
Oxygen
Air

Note: if you're lucky enough to find some air with oxygen in it, you can skip the oxygen part

Rod.

If it is an auto tranny....make sure it is all the way in park...mine wouldn't start till I pushed the shifter all the way...it was in park just not enough for the electrical connection to allow it to start. If it is a 5 speed then ignore me cause I am a dummy.

hey skittle try the oil pressure gear in the car, all the relays and the sender unit, if any are not up to par, then it will not allow fuel, i had a car doing the same thing and thats what it turned out to be.

U Know I Had A Problem With My 82 Turbo ... Up Until Now I Couldnt Get It Fixed.. I Had To Change Out Ecu's... Check Your Ecu With A Friends Ecu.. Same Year Same Make Same Model.. Etc.. Swap Ecus For About 5 Min See If That Makes A Differance.. Next Thing There Is A Little Vacum Advance Mod Right Next To The Air Flow Meter Box Un Plug That And See If Your Car Will Start...
