Wassup guys, So I was running my Z today since all it does now is sit by my house and bask in the sun (its covered now tho) and thought about maybe if I should or can trade it for a 240Z??? I mean Ive always wanted one and I absoloutly love those cars. There was this dude at a local car hangout with a 240Z and of course non of the honda kids noticed it but me. I talked to the guy and he was making 360whp on a L28ET. I was just like OMG u probably have the fastest car here since its so light! And that just made me want one even more!!! Thing is I also love my S130 and would never ever sell it...unless its for another Z. My 280zx has no rust either!!! and I know if I get a 240Z itll be rusted and probably not running but I dont know guys?
Should I? If anyone of you guys has a clean (ok, decent) 240Z and looking for a rust free( Im serious RUST FREE, had a new roof welded in and painted) 280ZX NA 5sp. Let me know.

and what's wrong with having 3 cars????? the 240 will not be driven EVERY day--think about it.

Cant get three cars cuase then dad kicks me out of the house lmao, and the Honda makes 25mpg!!!(and it has a B18C, ok ill shut up now )

haha...second bleach...i dont think youll find anyone that will trade..your better off selling and getting your moneys worth and then buying a 240 and mabye have some money left over for makin it purty

i find mine by driving around --got the black z31 that way--the AE i found on line.......if you are a member of z club in your area, they will help you, too....

BTW--let your dad drive it once in a while, maybe he will allow you to keep all of them!!!!! remember--old people can still love good wheelz and know how to drive them!!

 

I guess my post didn't make it on. I was having this thought literally two days ago. The only real reason this came to mind was because I don't have enough money to buy a 240Z right now. My friends made me come to my senses and realize that it's not worth getting rid of the ZX. Just keep it, fix it up more, and save up to get a 240Z. So I plan to have both cars. Besides my Z will outrun the 240Z anyway unless you go and put a turbo in it too. Also, to me I know I'd eventually come across a 280ZX drivin down the road and then feel bummed that I sold the ZX. Plus I don't feel safe anymore without that shoulder belt.

I would have had enough money had I not had to shell out $3k to buy me a new daily driver. Damn kid slammed his car into me comin home one night. I'm hoping I get some good compensation from the insurance company so that way I can put it towards getting myself a 240z like I was originally going to.

 

Just Keep An Eye Out I Have A Friend That Got A 73 240z From a Junk Yard For $800. The Previous Owner Had Even Swapped An 83 Na Engine Into It. The Body Is Clean As Well.
