So, Bleach just stopped by my shop while he's here in San Diego and we went down to Chili's and had lunch and hung out for about an hour and a half. It was really cool. It's been a great week for meeting up with fellow ZDrivers for the first time.

Thanks for the welcome. Spent a lot of time looking on this board, and not doing a whole lot of writing.

That picture sums up my experience with my z, always under the hood. That car was lucky to make it too the show, thanks to Jeremy out in Vegas, i put it together the night before MSA.

Crazy. The things we do for our cars.

 

Yeah, its not always operator error. Some things just came messed up, i merely sped up the process of them breaking.

I made it to Vegas!

but, I sprung a pinhole leak at the top of my radiator somewhere... maybe 50 miles south of Vegas. Stopped a couple times to let the rad cool and filled it up. But I'm here now. Got some supplies and a hotel but haven't yet fixed the car. I can still get around ok for short drives...

I have enough money for gas to drive home so I'm not going gambling or anything but... ya, I might walk over to the strip I guess. Is it safe here?

no baggin it... not even that is safe. Too risky and ya, have you seen what is out there? yuck. I dont' think I can afford the good ones.

I hit 230,000 miles on the Z. Got a lot of sun, tan, not burned cuz I'm prepared. Paid 4.09 for gas out in the city of Needles. New York junk in Vegas... yadda yadda yadda

 

right on bleach, dont have too much fun, just get some j.b weld, the metal paste in the tube to temp fix your rad leak,

Dah! My Vegas trip got pushed back a week. I'll be down there on Fri/Sat the 12/13th of May. Maybe I'll have to drive to WA sometime... Tho it might be on a scooter.

Lost Vegas and I got the radiator swapped out and it appears to be working fine. I took it for a quick drive down the strip and on Hwy 15. good 2 go to Seattle!

 

i wish i was back home in vegas we could have had a blast... this summer if any one else plans on driving to/through vegas send me a pm and i'll take you to a great place to take some real nice pictures of your z's
