Question, what benefit do you get by getting this new fuel rail as opposed to using the stock one?

It has the ability to flow more fuel (if the rest of the fuel lines are upgraded). Also, the O-Ring rails make it easy to remove & install fuel injectors. Other than that, it's just to dress up the engine bay.

It's 99% bling factor. If it's being used in conjunction with the barbed type injectors (stock type) then it's a 100% bling factor deal. All about appearances. However, it's easier to find higher flow injectors in the O-ring arrangement so that would be one "performance" reason to go with an aftermarket fuel rail (O-ring type that is). But unless you need higher flow injectors then what you can find in the barbed type, the fuel rail serves no performance benefit. The Lxx isn't likely to ever consume more fuel than the stock rail can provide. It's all about the injectors in this case.

But as far as I'm concerned the stock fuel rail is about as ugly as it gets so the investment in an aftermarket fuel rail setup is worth it on the 'looks' basis alone.
