Thanks to everyone who has posted here. I have been majorly bummed with the amount of rust on my Z and thinking about giving up working on her. I spent this morning going through some of the post and now I'm ready to get back at it. I absolutely love driving this car and hope to as long as I can get in and out of it in my old age. You guys rock!!

oofa... I know how it is. I about gave up on my Z when I started tearing into it and saw how much rust there really was. Just cut out & replace... that's the easiest solution.

 

x2, I lost everything. My car sat for 12 years with one of t tops off. lol


I put the Z up of some jacks and cut the carpet out. I waved to my dad underneath the car lol.

Just think of this, with fixing your car, its one more Z thats on the road and one more that you saved.
