I have to sell my last ZX

Well there is almost no way around it...I have to sell my 1979 zx. I sold alot of interior panels to a guy and was unable to ship them...now the only way to do it is to sell my last zx...life officially sucks again.

Yeah...it sucks...I sold all my black interior panels from both of my 82's which made almost a whole interior to a guy in Ga...he sent the money for the stuff and I spent most of it except what I figured it would cost to ship it...the shipping was more than triple what I thought it would be at almost $200...well the guy sent me $250...and this was back near Halloween....and I have been trying to get the money every since then to ship it...if I say I am going to ship something then I do it...I feel so bad about it and I was supposed to have $2,500 a few weeks back from my friend because he owes it to me for work I did for him an he loaned it to my uncle...he ask me first if he could and I said ok as long as you get it back fast.

Well my uncle skipped town back to Ohio with all the money and now here I am...pissed, depressed, and about to be Zless. But I have to keep my word and get this poor guy his parts.

Right, I just included the shipping in the price. I shipped a computer that weighed like 110lbs with the monitor and it was like less than $30...this stuff weighs like 20lbs and they want almost $200 to ship it and that the cheapest place...why you say..."DIMENSIONAL WEIGHT" a fictitious made up thing to get more money from less stuff...because the box is huge they say it takes up more space that they could have other stuff in...so they charge more...what's that about??

Space and weight is everything in shipping. If you have a 50ft long box that weighs 5lbs... you think they are only going to charge you for the weight of 5lbs?

I understand why they do it....for a while I was pissed because they were charging me more money because my box would take up space that they would use for something they may or may not transport. I guess i am just not meant to drive a ZX.

Because you underestimated shipping charges you aren't meant to drive a z? Quit being so dramatic.

It's depressing is all...to much crap on my shoulders all at once...I don't like screwing people over least of all fellow Z drivers...the messed up thing is, if I sell the ZX, ship the parts and make everything cool...thats when I will need the car. Grrrrrrr I wish I was Snw right now....then I could just have a gay lover pay for everything....

try alternative methods? i shipped a front body fascia (im sure no smaller than your box) via greyhound for like 50 bucks i think. did you try downsizing the box? wraping some stuff individually making the boxes smaller but just a few more of them? think damnit!

Actually the lowest shipping price was and is so far Fedex...we broke the parts down to 3 boxes and it was more by $30 ( The cost of the boxes plus tax)...DHL was the highest price all the way around...I fear now that with the price of fuel it might be even more...how did you ship via Greyhound???
