I do not have a turbo flywheel or clutch for my swap

How much life can I expect out of a stock z clutch bolted to a turbo engine. If I gingerly use it with out a hammering it will it be OK. This is not the way I normally do things but this will be a exception. Now I know someone here has this set up the same way so hows it holding up for you?

Nearly as much as the turbo clutch. It should hold up fine if you're not thrashing on it.

any non-turbo 2+2 Z (1975-83) is going to have the same 240mm flywheel you need. That is, if you have the money for a new 240mm clutch kit. About $100-130

It will hold up at stock boost levels. Once you turn the boost up to even just 9 lbs, it will slip on WOT runs.

Excellent, I do plan to upgrade as soon as the setup acts up on me.

as far as the flywheel goes, can't you just use the flywheel that's already on the auto turbo?

Yes, just get a clutch to match. If I remember correctly, you may have to push out a dowel pin in the auto flywheel before the NA clutch will seat properly.
