Hood Mirrors

I dont know what you guys think of hood mirrors but I think they look pretty cool. I was looking for them but I never found hood mirrors for a S130. Anyone know where I can get hood mirrors for my 280zx?!?

You talking about mirrors on the underside to reflect? I don't think it would be very useful since the 280zx hood goes almost vertical when open... it wouldn't do it's job of reflecting the image of the engine.

Are you talking about mirrors for the underside of the hood? I hope not. Those are for show ONLY. Those wouldn't last long under the hood of the daily driver.

Or are you talking about FENDER mirrors like the Z's had over in Japan? In that case I think they look alright. I prefer the look of the door mounted mirrors though.

Dude are you F-ing kidding me?!? Of course Im talking about the japanese version mirrors of the Fairlady Z. The japanese model 280zx aka as the Fairlady 280Z in japan has mirrors mounted on the hood or the fender (whichever) I want to know if I can get these anywhere or if anyone can direct me to some Japanese Z parts site or something.

Gotta be more specific homie.... hood mirrors are mucho different than Fairlady fender mirrors I thought you might be talking about Fairlady mirrors, but you said *hood*

Sometimes you can find some Fairlady mirrors on ebay... or you can adjust the stock ones to sit on the fenders. Wa-La!

yes but that grill is not 432 only. That is a Fairlady Z only grill. My S30 Fairlady z has that grill.

True. It was used on all home market S30s. Probably because of advertising most people here in the States know it as the 432 grille. Looks good regardless.

Yeah those are the good ol' JDM fairlady Z mirrors alright! But I noticed it said they were for the 240z to 280z but the car on the picture was a 280zx! So what? they dont carry the 280zx ones anymore? Oh yeah and theyre expensive as hell! I think ill chop my current ones off and glue them to my fenders!

Hmmmm I know there is this guy living in Japan...now who was that.

Oh yeah...me! I did find a great deal on one recently for someone else on zcar for cheaper than $81 each. If you are interested then contact me for JDM parts and I can locate (or at least do my best scouting) and set you up. japanz32@yahoo.com

An L20?? Seems like I've heard that, but all I've seen is the RB20... like this one Z31 on ebay:
