High rpms

L28et I'm shifting through the gears and as I shift the rpms hold still for 2 to 3 seconds then idles down. I'm stumped as to what it could be.?

Are you running a stock turbo setup, bov, etc?

Yes I take my foot off the gas. And the rpms still stay where they are for 2 to 3 seconds. Stock setup bov welded to j - pipe.

I suspect it happens under boost and the excess pressure is keeping the tb open or it's getting past through idle air...

it has to do with those gizmos on the manifold driver side. I took mine off solves the problem and the car runs better.
