Lots to do here! Catch a Rockies game: Coors field is nice, kick back with a beer in the cheap seats with a view of the Divide and watch the visitors win (lately). Take a tour of the Coors brewery (free beer, and Coors is actually decent at the brewery). Try the alpine slide at heritage square. Check out the zoo or museums. Try out a kayak at the REI store on the South Platte. Walk around the 16th Street pedestrian mall and watch the street performers. Go hike around Red Rocks. Go up to Boulder and check out Pearl Street or drive up Flagstaff, check out the restaurants and brew pubs, walk around the CU campus. If you've got a spare day, go up to Rocky Mountain National Park, drive Trail Ridge Road (before it closes for winter in the next few weeks). Go to Winter Park and rent a mountain bike. Use the ski lift and you don't have to worry about the 10,000 foot altitude.
In any case, welcome to the Rockies, and enjoy your visit! You picked some great weather, it's not been too hot lately.
have fun,
Dave

You could try Munich instead, they'll serve beer to everyone (kids too!), and the castles are actually real. These days, the airfare is only slightly more than admission to Disney, too.
Hope you've got some time to enjoy Dnever, Rod!

Nope... Pure business this time. I didn't have time for any if that stuff but I did try the "world famous BeauJo's pizza"...

I saw coors field from the hiway... sweet.

I saw Invesco field too and got a great picture of my middle finger flying a "Bird" directly at it!!!

Went to some exotic car dealer called "Paragon" out on Arapahoe that had some nice cars. That was about the extent of my fun.

Travel isn't fun anymore. With the new security it's just a pain in the ***.

I'm back home now, the trip kinda sucked. But hey... I did get to flip off the home of the Bronco's so it wasn't a complete loss

Rod.

Sorry you didn't have any time do non-work stuff. I agree, biz travel stinks no matter how you cut it, even when the work goes well.

Glad somebody got some use and joy out of Invesco Field at Mile High! I'm not a huge Broncos fan (or football, really), so I'm still peeved at paying for their new game park. Post the picture of you flyin' the bird!

Yeah, the security silliness kind of took the wind out of the sails of the Good Ship Travel Joy. As much as I'm looking forward to vacation, the thought of the ineffective time-wasting protocol at DIA (which is pretty decent as airports go) makes me want to kick puppies.

glad you made it home safe,
Dave
