Ok i cant figure out why my fuel pump wont pull fuel from the tank...car started fine about two week ago, but was leaking fuel from the feed hose. So i pulled the pump, replaced the other lines with FI hose, checked the wires... All good to go, pump will prime but refueses to suck any fuel out of the tank(got a clear filter from tank to pump. And forgood measure, i put the line into a gas can with fresh gas and got nothing

Am i doin it rightght? Or should i just chock it up to a bad fuel pump?

Did you hook up the wires to the correct terminals? Reversing polarity will reverse the motor rotation...
Is there any fuel in the tank?

Pretty sure i didnt goof the wires(done that before lol) gauge says 1/4 tank atleast
Not 100% if tank is clogged, thus why i tried to feed it from a gas can with no success
Even tried "manually" priming the tank line by filling it with fresh gas... It wont budge...
Pump is definatly priming, but doesnt seem to be moving fuel?
Is it possiable that i might need to "burp" the entire system?

pull the pump off the car after removing hoses and see if it will pump from one container to another. reverse polarity is a real issue. when you have the hoses off see if gas flows freely by gravity from the tank.

I had same problem with my pump also just last week. I had to take the pump aprt clean all the insides, with no success I took a air hose into where I thought fuel went into. Sure enough all this slug came out and right away it worked like brand new
