so i was reversing out of my driveway and i see this little red piece on the ground and it turned out to be a bushing to my right tension rod, im gonna fix it asap but i was wondering if this has happened to anybody else.

There have been quite a few people who have used the urethane bushings that have had thier TC rod break. It's pretty common knowledge now that you don't want to mess around with your TC rods and urethane bushings. Search this forum and others and you'll see many threads discussing it. But hey, what do I know....
So true. I broke 4 tension rods in one month, just cause I'm that amazing... learned here that it was most likely due to the urethane bushings (and possibly another problem). My supply ran dry so I replaced the tension rods with the TechnoToyTuning tension rods and all is good, for now.
Im no expert but if i installed the flashy TC rods would that cause other problems down the line, like if i took a hard turn that would usually break the old TC rod but not this one would that break something not as easily replaced like the tension rod bracket or the lower arm?
Just replace the tension rod bushings with new rubber ones or mix half & half. I did the half mix after snapping a tension rod in my '82 with new urethane bushings. Sooo scary! Happened on the highway, without warning...
