fastest 280zx??
i have been to plenty of zx sites but caint find a deffenite answer as to wats the worlds fastes street regestered 6cylinder powered 280zx over the 1/4mile.
any one know????

You guys are funny. I would say there's no "site" that lists the fastest registered street 280ZX running an inline six. Although, mine is running from $0 to $100k pretty darn quick!! 
Some of the Japanese 280ZX's running fully built RB26 twin turbo's are probably gonna take the cake. There's also a wicked 2JZ Twin Turbo powered one I've seen, but I never saw any drag times.

but guys are we talking 280zx or 280z cause i am talking 280zx street regestered 6. fastest one i have seen with a slip to prove it is a 11.3 at 130mph. the drag time site classes 260z 280z and 280zx all as the same car but you can tell by the year modle wats a true 280zx

Fastest S130 I saw was in an old Option mag. Top speed of 320+ km/hr way back in 1984. It was running a twin turbo draw through carb setup on the L28. As for street registered in the US, it's anybody's best guess. 280zx's aren't exactly the first choice of machine for doing drag races.

while i do agree with you that they arent many peoples first choice but thats wat makes it my first choice. and its hard to find the fastest over the 1/4 so that why i put it to every one if they know

there is a guy on hybridz, with the supra motor in it, his name is zgawd, runs in the 6 second range, there is a thread over there about the fastest street driven car, check it out, there video too, things nuts, and still runs the stock suspention to.

I heard there was an NA L28 powered 280zx in Canada running super stiff Mercedes rear springs so it can do wheel stands for the first 1/8 mile of the strip... the thing runs 8 seconds flat on pump gas...

Wasnt there a thread about a 280zx n.a running 18's in the 1/4 and a 280zxturbo being albe to run 16's in the quater? i cant remember but i know my 280zx turbo is fast enough to beat honda civics some body on hear says and i quote " my lug nuts need more toruqe then your honda makes HP. LOL somthing like that LOL anyways i got to go.
p.s. my 280zxt hasnt gone to a track or dyno. but maybe low 16's in the qauter is my guess.
