OK, I picked up a 83 ZX NA that a battery charger was hooked up the wrong way. He carried it to a shop and they gave up on it and I bought it for a song and dance. They bought a new ECU for it and I have been doing some trouble shooting on it. No juice to pump and injectors. I was looking at ECU and notice the green light wasn't glowing anytime and thinking maybe they blew the ECU?? When does the green light come on the ECU??

The ecu light should be lit in the ON position. Have you checked the fuse links and main power wires to the ecu? He probably didn't mention the smoke or "burnt wire smell" to you.
