Yeah it's like 302MB. I'm not sure if it's an .avi anymore though cause once I edited it with Movie Maker I was able to play it with media player. I don't think my media player supporst .avi. The original version though had to be played with my DivX player plus I had to download AC3 for the audio. I did all that only to find out from Nismo here that Movie Maker would convert it. It not only compressed it to half it's size but its compatible with all of my media players too. Of course if you've got limewire you can download it there. I'm still uploading this gargantuan file. It's been a couple hours now. Anybody know what the average upload rate is on DSL? I've got 3.0Mb download but I don't know what the upload rate is. My brother introduced me to LimeWire almost a year ago and now I've almost filled up all 40GB of my hard drive with video and mostly music. The best part: It's all free. And to think, I was paying for this crap before Anyways, if anyone wants to download it from Limewire then I have it on there as a compatible with Media Player format. If it doesn't finish uploading here soon then I'm gonna give up and tell you to just download LimeWire. It's well worth it.

I'll start up my Limewire when I get home & d/l it so that others can get it quicker too. Let me know the name of the file.

Ok, scratch this whole thing. I just realized I can only upload files as big as 10MB. Well that's just a little too small for this video So if you want it for free go to the limewire link above. Download limewire basic. And then search for BMI Drift Bible and download it. That's it. While you're there you might as well search out LimeWire Pro and download that. Sorry I couldn't deliver on this but I do have it listed on LimeWire for download.

Just got home & searched for J's vid... no luck, but there are about 50 users that have the 626.8MB vid called "Best Motoring - Keiichi Tsuchiya - Drift Bible"

Just doing a vid search for BMI brings up a ton of tight vids

I don't know whats going on. It's in my share file. But I can't get it to come up through a search either. I checked to make sure sharing was turned on for that file and everything. Nothing. I dont know. I've been having problems ever since I installed this Verizon crap. Now there's a firewall on in limewire and I dont know how to turn it off. It wasn't on before and I was sharing files then. So I wonder if that's what the problem is. It says I'm sharing like 31 files. Any thoughts?

if its in a zip file then you have to "un-pack" it usually just right click and click "open" or you could go to your downloads file and find it and open it there.

It's not a zip. It's a .wmv file for windows media. I dont understand. I figured out it's not the firewall cause I've got people downloading music as we speak. I'll try transfering the video to my music share folder and see if it can be downloaded that way. I could definitely use a 250GB harddrive. I've got a stack of CD's of songs I've had to burn to keep clearing space on me hard drive. I don't have too many videos but I've got a music downloading addiction I don't have room for the videos.

I couldn't find your file last night, so I d/l'd the original 600MB one... but it didn't have any sound (codec error).

I'll try again tonight.

Nismo, you probably need to download this codec: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/AC3_Filter.htm It's called AC3 Filter. It's what I needed to play the sound on mine too.

Yeah, Windows Media Player 10 won't play the sound on my Drift Bible, or my American Touge Vol. 1 ... I just use VLC Media Player.

You can download a program to convert the sound file so it's WMP compatible. It just recreates the file. I'm sure there are codecs available too but I'm not sure which ones are neccesary. My computer crashed last night so I lost everything. I had to re download the Drift Bible but I couldnt get the big one to download any faster than 4KbB/sec so I just ended up downloading a smaller one which was closer to 200KB/sec. I cant watch it full screen but atleast I got it. If you've got windows you can just open the file in Movie Maker and then paste all the clips to the clipboard. Then in file, click "save to my computer" and it will turn into a WMV file so you can play and listen to it on Windows Media. I lost all the audio/video stuff I had downloaded and instead of redownloading it all I just did some searching to find what I needed to make stuff work with what Windows already has on it. I down loaded Easy CD-DA Extractor tonight and it converts pretty much any audio format into mp3. I downloaded a bunch of songs then realized they were .m4a files which WMP doesn't support. So with that program you can just convert them. I lost my entire music library and all my pictures. This sucks Lesson learned though. I'm backing up everything now

I guess thats the plus side of my computer crashing. Now that it doesn't have all the crap that Dell put on there and a lot less media files, plus that fact that I got to configure it the way I wanted it, it's a lot faster now Still sucks to lose all that stuff though.

yeah i know what you mean with loosing the pictures - those are priceless

I lost a lot of my pictures when my last laptop bit the dust, so now i back them up on an external HD and burn the really good ones onto CDs... its cheap insurace, and someday i want to be able to show my kids the kind of stuff i used to do before i was a boring old man... then again maybe not

Create an account at Yahoo 360 or any one of the other 'free' sites and put your stuff up there. Then it's available to you from anywhere!

Most of these sites have 'Private' sections where the pic's aren't viewable unless you want them to be... Could be important for some of you...

Cheers,
LWW
