Down pipe (the one that goes from the intake manifold to the exhaust); I think that's what it's called.

Mine has a leak (I noticed it after installing exhaust headers), so I need to replace it. Anyone has a spare willing to sell?

Also, can this pipe be eliminated or must I have that pipe?

I believe you are actually talking about the EGR pipe. You don't need it (it's for emissions only).
