I am half way into replacing my stock springs and struts with the Tokico set. The rears were easy. Now I am doing the fronts. I did one side and did not cut the new bump stop I installed. My original bump stop was completely disintegrated, so I don't know how long it was. I still have to do the other side. Do I really need to go back and cut the bump stop in half? Thanks

Why would you cut the bump stops?

The directions in the tokico kit say to cut your bumpstops down to allow for more suspension travel. I just got the kit too and that's what it said.

just cut em in half lol

or see if a Checker/Autozone has em in stock and cut em to that length (assuming I'm reading what you're typing right lol)

I don't want to redo that side if not really necessary. I was thinking that since the suspension is lower, there won't be the travel available anyway. Was wondering if anyone had installed this kit and not cut bump stops. BTW, it said it would be 1 inch drop. It is actually closer to 2 inches.

Mine is going on next week. I'll put them on without cutting it. Just got a new master urethane bushing kit anyways, but i'll let you know. Is it really closer to 2 inches? Sweet!

The rears were just over 1 inch and the fronts were almost 2 inches. It sits level now. Looks much better.
