Welcome to ZDriver and to owning a 280zxt!

We have lots of pics posted here... check this:

https://www.zdriver.com/forums/showt...383#post283383

https://www.zdriver.com/forums/240z-260z-280z-motor-swaps-non-v8-269/l28et-s30-tucked-like-stock-only-better-pic-heavy-30516/

The coil bracket must be grounded for spark. The cylinder w/ wires on each end is an RF Condenser to stop radio interference... the car will run fine without it.

Also, feel free to buy a Haynes manual, or download the FSM from: www.xenons130.com/reference

First, check your spelling before going further.

Fix the spelling, don't criticize him for it. Only I am allowed to do that

Merged threads. Check page EF-45 of the 81 supplement.

Here's another pic for you...

Yellow (trigger) & Black w/ white stripe (+12v power) go to ignitor. Out of ignitor the blue goes to negative on coil, black goes to positive. Blue splitter from negative goes to other blue wire (tach signal).

And that's it...
