breather issues

I just received a polished turbo valve cover for Christmas and it looks awesome. Only problem is that there is no fitting to take my tube from the intake between the afm and turbo up to the valve cover. there is just a hole in the valvecover. some of my buddies have said that it is just a crankcase breather but i wasn't sure. any thoughts?

crank case breather use a small air fliter from autozone bore it out with your dremel.. about 1.70 mm over the normal size it will be thin so be carefull... i can send u a link to what mine looks like.

There will be a small plug needed to plug up the area used on your main istake tube going to your turbo charger i belive the size of the plug needed is 3/4 inch ? thats pretty much all there is too it..

some of your buddies are idiots, why the hell would a crank case breather be on a valve cover? the PCV (positive crank case ventilator) is on the engin block on the drivers side up front and is connected to the intake manifold. the hole up top just needs a line ran to it from the intake tubing after right infront of the TB or just a little breather on it.

I think he's saying the actual 90 degree elbow is gone. It's not the PCV, but it does recycle blow by air back into the intake after the AFM.

Your best bet on getting another would be to hit up the junk yards.

i know hey was saying its gone, but idk what i can say to him about that.... if there is enough material you can maybe tap it and then get a threaded fitting to go in there from NAPA.... other wise your gonna need a new valve cover or a good weld job and an elbow to fit it.

sorry for calling your friends idiots btw... but people shouldnt tell people stuff that they dont even know.

Weld job??? The elbow fitting is pressure fitted in, not welded. Like I said... just find one at a junk yard & yank the elbow.
