Bmw fuel injectors in a 280zx?

i have been trying to get a 280zx to run and I'm curious if I can use injectors from a late 90s 2.8l bmw. I believe that the injectors spray about 200cc. Will it work and if it does is there anything I would need to do for them. The injectors have tips on them that I would have to take off for them to fit also.

Long answer short, yes they will work.

Longer answer: They are 14mm o-ring high impedance injectors, requiring an aftermarket o-ring rail (Pallnet rail). IIRC the BMW injectors have splines on the pintle caps? Technically you can grind them off with a Dremel and then they will fit into the intake ports. I am using high impedance 14mm o-ring 308cc GM fuel injectors on my 280ZX Turbo.

If you can't get the pintle caps to fit, then you can remove them and use the stock style. Pallnet also sells pintle caps... pallnet@hotmail.com

So far I used the bmw on the stock fuel rail and they fit in by removing the pintle caps. The only problem now is that when i pulled the fuel rail out they are not spraying anything out. Im guessing this is where I need a Pallnet rail?

Did you ever get them to work with the stock rail. I'm working on mine now(it was running bad and one finally started visibly leaking) and I'm exploring my options
