when i open my hatch from inside the car the cable does not release enough to close the hatch back, any quick fix or replace the whole cable? Since my interior is 100% custom getting to it will take a lil work

 

Check the cable tension... tighten / loosen if necessary (by adjusting the length of the cable at the latch). Also grease it a lil if dry.

 

When you open the hatch check the latch to see if is sliding properly. You may need to lubercate both it and the cable (moisture gets into the cable and it will stick). Hopefully that will do the trick. Good Luck
