AIR Tube

Ok I got a little bored and decided to open that little filter fox for the air system and I found it totally packed with weeds and bugs and crap, Do they even make a filter for the thing anymore? Or should I just delete that system all together?

Yes I know what it does, I have no emissions check here in Vernal, so no worries.

Ok, I KNOW it goes into the airbox but I cant find where it actually takes the air in...

HAHA that's funny! Bluekitsune (sorry if I messed that up. I have horrible memory) you should just put in the cold air intake and get rid of that bulky box.

I hear ya on that. I have a ton of stuff to do to mine too. I already have the exhaust though. I wanna redo part of the header though. Where the pipes connect to one is where I wanna start. That little collector is way too small. I'm gonna make it match the 2 1/2 " exhaust.

A lot of my exhaust has cracks around 90% of the welds, so I'm getting quiet a bit of exhaust in the car.

Just stick to you plans and fix the most pressing issues first. There is a Z in a yard in North Salt Lake that has headers on it (or it should still be there). Might be a quick, cheaper fix to your problem... would just need an 18 dollar manifold gasket...

Ya true on that. And when I get the money, I'm headed out to Salt Lake and will probably pick up quite a few parts.
